Bright yellow, with green tints, in the glass.

Petrol on the nose.

Medium weight, petrol, juicy green apples, light lemon rind, a hint of lime, grapefruit, slightly off dry, mouthwatering, clean, refreshing, rich, lightly honeyed, good acidity.

Citrus rind, green apples, very mouthwatering on the long finish.

Delicious, but a bit pricey for what it is.

Purchased at the winery for $17.95 (Canadian) and not a good QPR and that price point.

I find that VQA wines have been getting pricier in general of late. Pity, because I don't think it hurts to have some good basic VQA bottlings alongside the more expensive ones. I've been making the case for a good $7 VQA "table wine" (just a basic pizza red for example) for a while now.

I think "Pizza Red" would be a great name for a cheap and cheerful wine.
