(Only partial) shameless self-promotion

by Hoke » Wed Apr 11, 2012 2:14 pm

With the hopes that Robin will allow this---I wanted to bring everyone's attention to the upcoming Society of Wine Educator's Annual Conference in San Mateo (SF area) in July.

Their FaceBook page is here http://www.facebook.com/societyofwineeducators and you can click on the San Mateo 2012 post to see a schedule of events, if you wish.

The shameless self promotion part is that they're allowing me to do a seminar/tasting on the delights of Cognac. But there'll be other events galore...both spirits and wine, and some supremely talented people, many of whom you'll know or know of. For winegeeks that can make it, it could be a salutory beverage occasion.

And now, back to your regular programming...

Hoke...I think you can do better than that in the "shameless" category.
But I couldn't seem to track down anywhere the link to the program schedule.
Can you give us a direct link to it??

I gave a Seminar at one of these in LasVegas about 2006 on Calif Rhones. I really enjoyed the event.
It was an ecclectic mix of winos.....serious wine geeks, people interested in making their own wine,
and folks serious about getting credentialed in wine judging. But..like most winos...fun folks.

You're an ideal person to teach that Seminar, Hoke......only old folks drink Cognac & smoke stoggies!!! :-)

Tom, I know you're not used to these newfangled interwebz things like Facebook, but if you go to that link, scroll down to the announcement about the Conference (San Mateo 2012) and click on it, you can click on the information panel and it will say "Agenda". When you click on that, you'll get the full agenda, by day and time, of all the seminars.

Don't have any other links to give you. Sorry.
