2009 Rhys Pinot Noir Santa Cruz Mountains
Good Pinot. I very much like the cherry, berry flavors, and there's a hint of floral on the nose that accents the fruit. It's a bit hard on the palate right now, so will wait on my other bottles.

Sounds nice. Definitely an under appreciated area.

If JBL could hear me now!

Love the Santa Cruz Mountains. The 2003 Katherine Kennedy Cabernet was one of my biggest wow wines (although $$$$$$)..and for $32, the Domaine Eden (second label/different vineyard of the Mount Eden winery) is awesome.

I just spent the past two days in the Santa Cruz area and visited 5 wineries. Some good stuff there. I'll post about it when I get unpacked and get over the jet-lag (and get Easter Dinner behind me).
Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.
