2007 William Harrison Estate Cabernet

Northeastern corner of Rutherford AVA (right at the intersection of Silverado and Zinfandel in St. Helena).

All about the classic dusty Rutherford licorice here. Black, inky color, nose of blackberry and anise. Smooth tannins, but they are present. Fairly good acidity here...not flabby at all. Touch of funk, but other William Harrison wines have shown more in the past (in a good way, except for the run of corked bottles two years ago  )

Would repurchase this...I love strong anise and "dust" character in Napa Cabs.
