2010 Les Fils de Charles Trosset Arbin Mondeuse

From Savoie east of the Rhine Valley.

Very meaty, strong white pepper nose. Like a cold climate Syrah but not really.

Enjoyable high acid, fresh, red plum, tons and tons of white (and maybe black) pepper. Licorice? Maybe a hint?

Very enjoyable quaffer. I understand from the Intertubes that one can age Mondeuse? That might be interesting!
