WTN: Nice riesling for dinner

Dark straw color. Deep nose of petrol, tropical fruit and stones. Rich and acidic midpalate with just as much petrol and rocks as tropical fruit with layers of flavor. Nice long finish with petrol and fruit. This wine does a nice dance on your tongue and seems to keep its rhythm from front to back. :D

With food: Excellent match with grilled marinated pork loin. Also matched up nicely with a spring greens balsamic vinaigrette salad that was topped with tomatoes, fruili cheese and walnuts. The walnuts tamed the petrol and brought out the sweet orange fruit in the wine.

Wine: Selbach-Oster, Zeltinger sonnenuhr, riesling kabinett, 2008, Mosel, 8.5% abv
