Is this under screwcap? If so, wouldn't it be expected to last a bit longer?

Yes, screwcap. No exceptions on any Lorings, is there? Anyway, it's just the winemaking style, and perhaps the vintage. I've had some exceptional Loring Garys' five, six years out. This one, at seven, was just a tad long in the tooth.

With a hotdog with tomatoes and onion and pineapple, it is drinkable and still good. Given all the manipulation Brian admits to doing, I wonder if this was too zealously acidulated?
