WTN: Tedeschi Capitel Tenda Soave Classico 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Sun Mar 04, 2012 11:32 am

Veneto

Very light yellow in the glass.

Spicy, citrus on the nose.

Light to medium weight, creamy, green apple, a hint of peach, apricot, very spicy, vanilla, good citrus rind bite, peppery, good acidity, refreshing with some light bitterness toward the end.

Lemon on the very mouthwatering finish.

Delish.

Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian).

I have always praised this Soave from Tedeschi, good note spot on.

Sounds like my sort of wine. I don't know Tedeschi but I've had excellent Soave freom Pieropan and Anselmi, though some criticise them as too "modern".
