14.4 % alcohol by volume. 75% Zinfandel, 20% Petite Sirah, 5% Carignane. Dark purple color; nearly opaque. Nose and flavor almost sweet with dark berries, maple syrup?, dark plumskin and plum flesh. In 2003 Paul Draper spoke of strong tannins and said it would continue to mature for ten years. I think it is mature and ready for drinking now with the tannins tamed. It held up recorked and refrigerated for almost two weeks with a strong perfume and fruit flavors persisting!
