I received the following email today, and thought people who love Steve's wines might be interested in attending. I can strongly recommend the restaurant. Tom Colicchio is a fanatic for the integrity of fresh ingredients and simplicity in cooking. "New York Magazine" named it as one of a handful of NYC restaurants that would Impress a Foodie. Although, as they point out, in my experience, foodies are rarely impressed with anything.
In any event, Robin has agreed I could post a copy of the email I received this morning from ESJ:
Dear friends of Edmunds St. John,
As supporters and fans of Steve's wines I would like to extend to you a special invitation to join us here at Craft when we welcome Steve to co-host a dinner pairing his wines with our food. The dinner will be held on Tuesday, November 7th, in the Craft private dining room in New York (43 E. 19th St.). We will begin with Hors d'Oeuvres and the first wine at 7:00, with dinner to begin promptly at 7:30.
The evening promises to be one filled with great food, superb wine, and excellent conversation. (The menu is below). So if you live in the New York area make your reservations, and if you are further away call your travel agent! This is a dinner you do not want to miss.
For additional information and for reservations please contact Irene Costello at (212) 400-6512. You can reserve individual seats or an entire table for six to eight wine lovers.
I hope you can join us!
