Pale with transparency. Slightly pungent on the nose. Mild fruit and pepper accents. I used some in a casserole that called for a dry white wine and sipped it on its own the first evening. The second evening I had it with fried chicken. It would also pair well with green vegetables, including asparagus.

Thanks for the note. I have always found the little Steininger GV to be an outstanding value. If you ever get the chance to try the Sparkling Grüner Veltliner you won't be disappointed.
Cheers,
Bill
