100 per cent Chenin Blanc

Light golden in the glass.

Frothy mousse.

Good centre stream of fine bubbles.

Doughy, lemon peel on the nose.

Medium weight, lemon, melon, green apple, spicy, good acidity, honeyed, drying, clean, with an intense citrus rind bite toward the end.

Clean, lemon rind, peppery on the mouthwatering finish.

Not the best sparkler I have ever had, but interesting and enjoyable.

Purchased on sale at $12 (Canadian).
