WTN: La Griffe Bernard Cherau Muscadet Sevre Et Maine 2008

Cherau-Carre
Sur Lie

Light yellow in the glass.

Apple, pear, spicy on the nose.

Medium weight, tangy green apples, lemon, a mild bitter bite, good zingy acidity, clean, crisp, refreshing.

Mouthwatering, apple, light lemon rind on the finish.

A simple wine that matched well with a simple meal of fish and chips.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).

One cannot go wrong with Muscadet, especially if it comes from the Chereau-Carre family.
