JonBonne, one of my favorite writers and one of the few who has something new to say, has an interesting column in today's SFChron:
SFChron:BonneFiveTrends

on five trends to watch.
Nice that he gave some kudos the TheHistoricalVnydSociety.

Interesting read. Thanks Tom. I have wondered why Grenache Blanc (Tablas Creek is the only producer of note that comes to my mind) never got enough love in California.

I keep waiting for the blending and the restraint in wines. Maybe this will be the year? Or is it the year for Muscato and sweet reds?

Tercero, Adrew Murray (RGB), Rideau, Clayhouse all had good Grenache Blanc on my trip to central coast last fall. There was probably others but those come immediately to mind.
