WTN: two Bordeaux

2000 Fontenil opened 5 hours prior to dinner, it was very dark purple and medium bodied with flavor of sour cherries and a distinct earthy/dusty note but not like forest floor. Still needing some time to resolve some remaining tannins, if I had mroe I'd wait another 4-5 years.

2003 Moulin St. George also opened and decanted 5 hours prior to dinner, was also very dark purple with no bricking at the edges. Flavors of prune and mulberry but not in an over-the-top way. Tannins were still somewhat agressive and I'd let this one rest for 8-10 more years if I had any more and could wait that long.

Thanks for the update. I do have one bottle of the '00, and will wait. In the mean time, the '04 is nice with a decant, and the '05 was OK without the decant. If I open another '05 it will be a few years from now, with the decant.
