WTN: The White Viognier 2010

by Bruce Hayes » Sat Jan 21, 2012 12:46 pm

South Eastern Australia
Berton Vineyards

Bright yellow-light gold, with green tints, in the glass.

Pineapple, peach, floral, spicy on the nose.

Medium weight, kiwi, mango, lemon, orange, lime, honeyed, floral, good zingy acidity, juicy, very rich.

Mouthwatering, with bitter lemon rind on the finish.

Screwcap closure.

A silly name, I know, but I have bought this several times over the years and it has always delivered for me.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).
