This German Riesling from Munsterer Rheinberg was in splendid shape with a pale straw color and great prickly acidity that I love. The flavor was of peach with an abv of 8.5%. At peak now but will last for a few more years probably.
Spot on David, you were enthusiastic when I posted late last year on the Kabinett from 2010 I believe. Amazed that the `02 was so good.
Just opened the `10 Kruger-Rumpf Munsterer Riesling Kabinett, which is singing nicely. A tad on the sweet side but very nice structure, especially on the mid-palate. Good value for $21 Cdn, will post more thoughts asap. A wine to put away and see what happens!
