I know you meant American NFL Football, but I just pretended that you meant American Association Football to make a simple poll even easier.

Chenin and tennis?

The only Chardonnay worth my time is Chablis. And I think I'd prefer it to (even German) Rieslings for sports.

I had to go with Chardonnay and Football. It was one of two options that could involve Champagne.

I'm a Riesling and Chenin man, though like Chaim I love Chablis. But those sports mean nothing to me and to 99% of non-Americans.
For an Anglo like me cricket v. football (association "soccer" or rugby "rugger") would talk, but for the ignorant rest it would be tennis v soccer.

Didn't/couldn't vote. I know the knock on SF 49ers fans was that they were Chardonnay-sipping, quiche eating (elitists? wusses?) but I like the 49ers and I'm not much of a Chardonnay sipper except for Chablis and white Burgundy and that not at football events. I will be watching the NFL playoffs with a Zinfandel or Ferrari-Carano Tresor (Bordeaux-variety blend) in hand this weekend because they are in my lineup, but next weekend it will probably be a Pinot Noir or maybe even a Cabernet Sauvignon. A Riesling might be my choice for watching gymnastics or figure skating (among the more "elegant" sports.)

Can you add Packer Football and Brandy Manhattans?
