Wheee!

Notes are unnecessary, useless really for a wine like this when it's firing on all cylinders.

Glad I have a few more. :D

I am reminded of my all-time favorite shelf-talker, its author clearly inspired by Terry Theise:

2002 Weingut Ch. W. Bernhard-Hackenheimer Kirchberg Kabinett Pfalz, Germany

Kinky Scheu Party Barbie says: Okay all of you Drooling Scheu Perverts out there, forget the whips and chains, forget the spiked leather, drop the polaroid and, by the way, THAT'S a nice chicken, but it's time to move on. Oooh! Look, there's only one bottle of Scheu on the shelf! Buy it and stop torturing yourself (or keep torturing yourself if you like that sort of thing). Get really kinky with something special (I suppose the chicken is alright). This garnered one of Germany's top prizes due to its beautiful fruit and balance. Excellent Scheurebe.

I went out and bought more of the Weegmuller 2002 Scheurebe from that same vineyard.

Haven't had the 2002 since release. It was gorgeous back then.

It is drinking like a champion. It's my understanding that Weegmuller is not imported anymore, which I have to say is a shame. There still is a limited stock (4 bottles now) of the Scheurebe and I picked up a Riesling version of the same from MacArthur's here in town.
