WTN: L. Aubry Champagne Brut NV

This is about as good as an affordable "house Champagne" can get. There's copious fruit, some youthful yeastiness and an inviting freshness that makes it very easy to drink. The palate impression is quite fine, and overall it's refreshing and fun, which leads to empty bottles.

I once travelled thru Champagne and made one stop--it was at Aubry, and this was before they had a U.S. importer. When I see their wines now, I can't resist.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Had some Aubry rose this Christmas that was a revalation. A real wine and yet Champange at the same time. I'm on the lookout for more.
