2005 Vincent Girardin Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes
This is (predictably) youthful, though it has enough fruit and flesh that it's an enjoiyable drink now. There's a touch of obvious oak, but it's not overbearing, and the fruit takes over on the wine's finish. Not much tannin here - rahter velvety overall, so perhaps just a couple more years in the cellar.
