1er Cru

A blend of Pinot Noir (40 per cent), Pinot Meunier (40) and Chardonnay.
Aged two years before release.

Deep golden yellow in the glass.

Good frothy mousse

Lazy streams of fine bubbles.

Very doughy, yeasty, caramel-toffee notes on the nose.

Medium weight, nutty, mature notes, lemon, green apple, crisp, good acidity, very clean, buckwheat honey, marzipan, balsamic vinegar, biscutty, quite rich and intense.

Very mouthwatering, clean, with lemon on the finish.

Delicious and perfect for a quiet Christmas Eve dinner.

Purchased at $41.95 (Canadian).
