Breakage and losses have brought us to the point where we absolutely have to buy new wine glasses. Any experience and opinions on the Mikasa 'Open Up' range of glasses made out of supposedly unbreakable kwarx (http://www.decanter.com/news/wine-news/ ... s-launched)? Although less fragility would be nice, I'm more interested to know how they compare as tasting/drinking vessels versus decent "run of the mill" crystal glasses? I should also note that we lack the sophistication and budget levels required to support a Riedel habit...
thanks in advance,
Mike
