14.2% alcohol by volume. Bottle notes say from classic Californian and Burgundian clones. Leggy on the glass. Dark purple color; opaque. Tart, somewhat acidic blackberry/boysenberry flavor with slight savory or underbrush elements (but fruit predominates). Mellows with aeration. Pleasing aftertaste.
