Took a bottle of this to a party last night in self-defense. The wine has softened quite a bit since purchase and is verging on sensuous now, especially where the 15+% alcohol, which used to make it porty, is concerned. It's not that way now and isn't going to be a long-liver, but it sure drinks well and should continue to improve and peak over the next five years.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
