Opened this last night. Some bricking around the margins as it settled in to the decanter. Very tight and closed at first. Took about 45 minutes to start opening up. At the two hour mark, it was soft, round and velvety, with full black fruit flavours and notes of red rose and vanilla. A handsome wine.

Always been a favorite in the Penfolds stable for me. And I own a few bottles of this vintage but haven't opened any yet. Nice to know how it's progressing. Thanks!
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

I love St Henri because it doesn't taste of oak: it tastes of shiraz. It's my favourite Penfolds wine.
