This is in a great place right now, with the fruit still fresh and youthful but framed by maturing cedar, graphite, herbal and floral elements. This isn't about ripeness or density, but rather conveys flavours with a finesse and lightness of touch I rarely find in modern Bordeaux. Fantastic, elegant claret that still has the fruit and structure to continue aging for some time. (Opened yesterday, the leftovers in the fridge held up nicely and were still fragrant and lovely to revisit today.)
