WTN: 2006 Chateau Mouras (Graves, Bordeaux)

Dinner at a "French" restaurant in Wroclaw, Poland

2006 Chateau Mouras (Graves, Bordeaux)
According to the label this is a 50/50 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It certainly has the Cab backbone, and also a bit of the lush fruit characteristic of Merlot. Not much in the way of tannin, so it's pretty easy to drink. There's a bit of a green (herbal) tone in there, and it gets a bit tough on the back end, but overall it was quite nice with our steaks (dining companions) and duck (me).

No idea about this Chateau, other than it was on the list at a relatively attractive price.
