This is a mystery wine, seems to be produced by Armstrong Ridge Winery, Kenwood, Sonoma CA. Bought this from WTSO for $10.99 and it got good scores from cellar tracker (several 91's). Gave this one the compulsory 4 weeks to settle down and opened a few days ago. It was a bit heavy, with a heavy dose of rubber and cola, even with a decant. Not my cup of tea, but a bit better the next day. Finally now on day three there is a very nice, almost Burgundian Village level savoir faire about this wine, but I cannot find anything about the producer. Smells like either a startup or "second label" used to dump excess production. Either way, this wine seems to have some real pedigree. I will keep my hands off the remaining 3 bottles for at least one year. Should turn out to be a nice wine. Anybody else have experience with this WTSO wine?
