Tried last night w/ dinner:

JCCllrs MiscStuff RW Calif (15.3%; Carigan/Grenache/Syrah/Tempranillo; Drk: 11/11-11/21: JC) 2008: Very dark/black color; strong licorice/pungent/tarry slight alcoholic/hot some earthy/dusty bit black cherry/boysenberry rather charred/toasty/oak some graphite/ozone/pungent interesting nose; soft bit burnt rubber/tarry/pungent/licorice some black cherry/bing cherry/boysenberry rather toasty/burnt/charred/oak bit tannic/hard/extracted flavor; long pungent/tarry/licorice rather black cherry/bing cherry quite toasty/charred/oak/burnt rather hard/tannic/extracted slightly hot/alcoholic finish; needs age but the alcohol may be a problem; maybe a bit over-extracted; some like a hard Languedoc red; bit pricey at $45.00
