Dark purple in the glass.
Dark chocolate, floral, woody, drying on the nose.
Light to medium weight, drying, spicy, black cherry, currants, blackberries, rich, tangy acidity, pencil lead, tarry, black olives, menthol, juicy.
Seemed a bit tight at first, but opened with a bit of time.
Drying, tannic, floral, mint, berries, mocha on the long finish.
An impressive wine.
