1993 Schloss Reinhartshausen Erbacher Marcobrunn Riesling Spätlese (#39)

A pristine bottle, bought from the producer's cellar.
The color is still bright yellow. Beautifully glossy on the surface. Scent of ripe apricots and apples on the nose, caramel, hints of green tea and iron. Creamy and powerful on the palate, sweetness and acidity are in perfect harmony. Long finish. Quite rich for what it is. Stylistically somewhere between Loire, Alsace and Mosel. A perfect match to almost any food. Drink up in 5-10 years. My personal rating: 89/100.

Cheers,
Rainer
