A most elegant Rioja, completely mature (with only a small amount of sediment, and showing no bricking at the rim), evolved tannins, and showing a very alluring, Pinot like, wine with red fruit and earthiness. Drank over 2 hours and it did not waver. Will not improve from here (and probably would have been slightly better 1-5 years ago), but a very properly aged wine. About $35, and 12/5% ABV.
