A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This was a throw-away wine I grabbed to go w/ my farro/aborio torta. Thought it would be a nice wine to try. It was...and way more than that. Another great example of a wine that has put on weight since I first tried it. It was, then, two yrs ago, a rather pretty wine that tasted like a Syrah made by a Pinot producer. It spoke quietly of Syrah, but showed a lot of elegant Pinot style. Now, it spoke loudly of cold-climate Syrah, some NorthernRhone character, and had much more intensity and complexity. Another terrific wine from EricSussman.
