WTN: 2010 Clos Roche Blanche Touraine Cuvée Pif

by Salil » Tue Oct 11, 2011 10:39 pm

While probably not as life-affirming as Rahsaan's recent L'Arpent Rouge, it's still damn good.

Lovely aromatics of fresh dark fruited flavours, green herbal elements and a floral topnote; light on its feet with a sense of elegance and restraint to the flavours and moderate acidity, all too easy to drink and great value. And it's under real cork.

Which was not the case for L'Arpent Rouge. I guess that's the difference between Pineau d'Aunis and the Cabernets.

The Gamay's also under cork as well.
