Steltzner Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

by Phil Ras » Mon Oct 10, 2011 10:39 pm

I recently purchased some Steltzner Cabernet Sauvignon Stag's Leap Napa Valley 2007. Haven't tried it yet since I want it to settle down a bit. Any reviews/comments on this wine?

Haven't had this vintage, Phil, but longer ago than that I tasted at the winery and found the wines distinguished themselves from most other Napa wines by the use of 100% American oak in most or all cases. Depending on your tastes that may be bad or good, if they still do that.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
