"Metro map" of French wine regions

This is fun, if a little silly: A detailed map of the French wine regions organized like a map of the Paris Metro:

It can be quite informative actually. If my geography serves me right, CdP should be a tad south of Rasteau, Gigondas, Vacqueyras. Right?

I'm trying to situate myself in the vineyards, Shaji. Without actually looking at the maps, I remember standing in the vineyards at Vieux-Télègraphe and looking pretty much due east at the various villages along the hillside, with Mont Ventoux behind them, which would put the villages more or less to the east of CdP. But I may be conflating visual memories here.

Checked the map (and had it wrong in my head.)

Carpentras is about straight east from CdP; Gigondas, Vacquaeyras and Sablet are somewhat north of due east, with Mount Ventoux in the background of all.

I added Sablet so I can mention my favorite chef again - Johannes Sailer of Les Abeilles in Sablet. I have now twice broken my vow to never visit Europe without eating his food, as my itinerary was determined by others.

Ding ding ding! You are correct, Mr. Cassidy!

Was there last year on a Rhone trip, and had previously rented a 'gite in the Ventoux (walking out our front door and seeing Mt. Ventoux in sweeping panorama in front of us.

It's as you describe: Chateauneuf du Pape, slight dogleg nw to Orange, go east to Carpentras, and so on. right down the valley into the Ventoux, ending at the Gorge (de Nesles, I believe). Just behind our 'gite, which was on the top of the south hill of the Ventoux, you could take a road over the hills and down into the Luberon (of Peter Mayles fame, with the villages perches and the quaint farmhouses and villas mostly owned by English and Americans now. :D

It's a wonderful map, in the tradition of Tufte, and I just put it on my birthday wish list.
