Maipo Valley

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70 per cent) and 15 per cent each of Cabernet Franc and Shiraz.

Purple in the glass.

Drying, floral, seeet berry fruit on the nose.

Medium weight, drying, tangy acidity, black cherry, raspberry, earthy, dusty, soft and full in the mouth, lightly charred, tarry, lightly floral, dark chocolate, red licorice, rich.

Drying, black cherry on the fairly long finish.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).
