WTN: Aresti Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2009

by Bruce Hayes » Fri Sep 23, 2011 10:29 am

Curicó Valley

Bright yellow in the glass.

Gooseberry, clean, crisp on the nose.

Medium weight, gooseberry, lime, lemon, grapefruit, a hint of orange, good acidity, very clean, a hint of honey.

With time, the wine loses some of its earlier nuances, with lemon and grapefruit dominating.

Gooseberry, tart, peppery, grapefruit, mouthwatering on the finish.

Average.

Purchased at $12.95 (Canadian).
