WTN: Highland Triskele 2010

Annapolis Highland Vineyards
Nova Scotia

A blend of Frontenac (60 per cent), Mischurnitz (30) and Frontenac Gris.

Light cherry red in the glass.

Spicy, sweet, jammy fruit on the nose.

Medium weight, currants, raspberry, strawberry, cherry, red licorice, slightly prickly on the tongue, fairly high acidity.

Tangy, mouthwatering on the finish.

A bit lighter than I recall from my first experience, but still good.

Purchased at the winery.
