Yes, it's purple, ripe & lower in acid than more "classic" Beaujolais, but it's also very enojyable to drink in its dark yet not overbearing fruit sort of way, and whether or not it makes old bones is completely irrelevant to the fact that it was just what the doctor ordered last night after we took a walk around the house & made the final payment to the contractor on a beautiful evening with finished home renovations (exterior) & a really nice glass of wine.*
*yes, that's badly Faulknerian in its poorly constructed run-on-ness...
