Interesting, Julia, and thanks for the cite, but you question is misleading in that it asks if music affects the palate (I'm assuming, perhaps incorrectly that by palate you referred to taste, not buying preference).
The question should be "Does music affect the sort of wine people buy?" - nothing in fact to do with palate/taste at all, just associations.
