WTN: Mil Piedras Viognier 2010

by Bruce Hayes » Fri Aug 19, 2011 8:25 am

Mendoza
Colle di Boasi

Light, bright yellow in the glass.

Spicy, light lychee on the nose.

Light to medium weight, lemon, lychee, tangy, peppery, refreshing, crisp, fairly high acidity, clean, with a hint of honey.

Peppery, citrus peel bite,

Rathjer unViognier-like. Nothing more than an okay wine, but redeems itself, a little, with the price.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $11.95 (Canadian).
