Thanks for note. Langhe Nebbiolo DOC is generally much more accessible in youth (when it's meant to be drunk) than Barolo or Barbaresco. Generally areas that don't ripen as much as the more touted DOCG areas (or sometimes younger vines within Barolo or Barbaresco, or just plots that the producer thinks not quite up to it). I'd assume they adjust maceration, bottle and barrel aging, etc accordingly.
This sounds good (and I agree that the Proddutori's version can be excellent value, too).
