I knew where Margaux is! Not so much the other regions. Thanks for the posting. It is a fun time waster.

I've probably played 10 times, only once topped 40K.
Alsace ones are the easiest, I'm most perplexed by Savoie and Corsica, but except for Bordeaux and Burgundy there's always some new ones to me.
Even sometimes if I know Rhone or whatever, hard to be exact on map without reference points

I've played 5 times and gotten anywhere from 25,00 or so to just over 48,000. My success rate depends on Alsace & Texier!

Played twice, got 39.5K on the second go-round. Those Corsican AOCs really threw me. The weird thing is that my highest scores came from Jurançon, Chateau Chalon, Pupillin and St. Chinian! OK, I did OK on Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Gevrey-Chambertin, too.

45,000 and 47,700. Probably means I'm not learning anything....

Who heard of some of these towns...?

Once I realized how much of a bonus you get for speed, I am topping 40K regularly. Much better when it says Rully to just quickly click in Chalonnaise region than to wait wondering exactly where do I click.

David - Thanks for the link. I played twice and got 54K my second time. Will need to brush up on some of the Savoie villages and crus.

A humiliating experience for one who thinks he knows French vineyards quite well. I have now played it twice and only managed 39000 first time and 36000 this time with several wild guesses both times  .

It's a great educational tool. I can now hit 50,000+ regularly.
