2008 Anthill Farms Pinot Noir Peters Vineyard
This showed quite well last night, with bright cherry fruit, some lighter herbal elements, and a very pretty, floral accent on the nose and palate. It's a lighter Pinot by California standards, and all the better for it. No smoke taint in this 2008 Pinot (unlike the Anderson Valley '08 from Anthill which some have hated, but I liked quite a lot).
