I saw in a previous post that Tom Noland had brought a Sequana 2007 to a Nolands bros. Pinot Noir tasting. It scored very well! When I saw the 2008 Sequana Sarmento Vyds. I remembered that post and tried it tonight with grilled pork loin and what a match it was. Color was medium ruby and transparent. The nose and palate were of sour cherry and mushroom and forest floor. Tannins were a tad high leading me to believe that a few (2-4 yrs.) would show some improvement but that is just quibbling. A very nice Cal. Pinot Noir with great complexity. I was going to save this wine to test Tom and bros. at MoCool but couldn't resist for the menue tonight. abv of %14.7
