Sunday (7/17) Dinner With Joan
We took a leasurely drive from Sac west to Healdsburg, via Winters and LakeBerryessa and ChilesVlly,
new territory for me. The downtown section of Winters is really neat & old-timey. Then across the Knight'sVlly
and a light lunch at PizzeriaDiAvola in Geyserville, one of my very favorite places for pig parts and pizza.
Then into Healdsburg, drop off Susan at a friend's, then down to SantaRosa. After the obligatory stop at
BottleBarn, I take in RileyOfficer's BB game. Then back to Joan's for a simple meal. There was wine involved:

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This Carlisle was a Fall release pre-release sample given to me to try at the BB game. Almost ripped that sucker open right
there in the stands, but, since this was a grade school, decided that was not in good form. I'm buying my allotment
this Fall.
