LeeFamilyFarm Verdelho SilvaspoonsVnyd/AltaMesa/Lodi (13.5%) MorganWnry/Salinas 2009: Med.yellow color; strong fragrant tropical fruit/carnations/mango/pear light stoney/metallic classic Verdelho nose; soft rather lush/ripe tropical fruit/mango/pineapple/Sprite/pear very light stoney flavor; med.short mango/pineapple/tropical fruit/Sprite very slight stoney finish; speaks of Verdelho but lacks to stoney/metallic/tangy/austere character on the palate; a pretty wine at a very nice price. $15.00 (CB)

1. I presume LeeFamily is a new label for wines made from purchased/non-Monterey grapes by DanLee. It seems as many more winemakers are recognizing the quality of the grapes coming out of Lodi.
