I am educating myself on German wines right now so from a purely self-interest point of view, how about Germany??

One thing I was going to try was to buy a Kabinett and Spätlese from the same producer and year and try to discern the difference...

I'm willing, although we should probably check how long it's been since our last German excursion. David B is our go-to guy for German, and he's going to be largely out of pocket for a bit, so we might want to wait for his input. I like the idea in principle, though.

Nice broad subject, will give us a chance to try a Prosecco, maybe one of those Finger Lake Chards or some pinkies.

Summer Sippers are fun, and frankly, even our friends in unseasonably chilly Europe or wintry Down Under can still turn up the heat and enjoy something light and refreshing.
